Safety for the roof Bobs and lots of bricks.

Progress

The master window has not as yet been replaced or installed. The gutter and fascia over the master bedroom is also yet to be completed.

The roof safety rails have gone up to keep the roof Bobs from falling off, I guess the roof tiling will start very soon.

Our bricks have also been delivered to site. I had forgotten just how rich the colours in the bricks are and how rustic they look, I have fallen in love with them all over again. The wrought iron gates we are going to put at the front door are going to look fantastic with these bricks.

Issues resolved

I spoke to Probie today as we are going to approve the dispensation for the higher garage wall for our neighbours as it only interferes with the window above the bed in the master bedroom.
The land developer will not approve the building permit for them to build a house with the same facade as ours as it is in breach of clause 24.1 of the land sale contract. Great for us but a sad for our neighbours who now have to choose another facade, sorry guys not our fault! Well at least PD knows now and can have them change it right away rather than submit it and wait for it to be rejected then reapply wasting even more time for them. If they had started to build before us we would have had to have changed ours, fweeew!
